Using Ascent

Ascent is a web browser with a built-in comic reader. You are responsible for the websites you visit, the content you open, save or translate, and the extensions and reader sources you add. Respect the rights of creators and the terms of the sites you use; save or translate only what you are allowed to.

Third-party services and content

Websites, translation services, filter lists, extensions, reader sources and trackers are provided by others under their own terms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or conduct. Translations and text recognition are automatic and can be wrong; do not rely on them where accuracy matters.

Open-source software

Ascent is built on Chromium and other open-source software, each under its own licence. The licences are listed in the app under Settings → About.

No warranty

Ascent is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from its use, including loss of data.
