Shields

Ads, trackers and pop-under redirects blocked with EasyList, EasyPrivacy, AdGuard and more. Three levels per site, a count of what was stopped, and a way to hide any part of a page the lists missed.

Translate pages and pictures

Translates a page's text in place, and reads the lettering inside comic panels, manga and webtoons, erases it and sets the translation back into the picture.

Ascent Reader

A comic reader inside the browser: your library, downloads, long-strip and paged reading, trackers, and translation of every page as you read.

Videos

Save videos for watching offline, with their captions, and find them again in Downloads and in the Videos screen.

Install extensions from the Chrome Web Store and pin one beside the address bar.

Yours to arrange

Address bar at the top or bottom, light, dark or pure black, colour palettes, a new tab page with your own picture, passwords kept on the phone.

Private by default

There is no Ascent account and nothing to sync. History, bookmarks, passwords and downloads stay on your phone; saved passwords are encrypted with a key held in Android's keystore. Read exactly what leaves the device, and when, in the privacy policy.
